Cabinet Office has released updated procurement thresholds for contracting authorities. Organisations can apply the changes with immediate effect.
We’ve listed them below but you’re able to access the full paper here – 2023-01-04 Procurement Policy Note – update to legal and policy requirements to publish procurement information on Contracts Finder (publishing.service.gov.uk).
Contract value limits have been amended:
- from £10,000 to £12,000 for central government authorities; and
- from £25,000 to £30,000 for sub-central authorities (inc. Housing Associations and Local Authorities).
These contract value limits are to be calculated inclusive of VAT.
