We’re now out to tender for our first Dynamic Purchasing System.
The model will allow for responsive works, void works and planned works at a variety of different levels. We’ve designed it this way so that both smaller customers and suppliers can benefit. We’d like a range of suppliers of different sizes and relevant trades to be part of the DPS.
Our customers have a range of requirements and are looking for a quick, effective and compliant way to manage their responsive repairs, voids and planned maintenance projects. This DPS offers a solution.
We’ve now published the DPS through ProContract – a procurement portal run by Proactis. The link to the documents will also be advertised on Find a Tender Service and Contracts Finder.
How will the DPS run?
It’s planned that the DPS will run for five years.
We’ll run this DPS as a two-stage process:
- First is the initial set up stage – We’ll ask tenderers to complete a Supplier Questionnaire online for evaluation. If successful, tenderers will then be appointed to the DPS and be able to take part in future tender opportunities.
- Individual contracts are awarded during the second ‘Further Competition’ stage – In this stage, we will invite all suppliers on the relevant Lot to bid for your work. All call offs from the DPS have to be mini tenders – there is no direct award option available. SEC will manage this process and be the initial point of contact if assistance or advice is needed.
