SEC is a not-for-profit central purchasing body. We were specifically created to support the housing sector and have a great Membership offer for Smaller HAs
We specialise in public procurement frameworks but offer a range of support which includes:
- Free training for Members. This training covers a range of courses on procurement, contract management, leasehold, development and fire safety.
- Technical support – we provide technical support pre, during and post-procurement. We can help with your specifications and cost models when using our frameworks.
- Contract support – From 2021 we’ll also support Members with their contracts post-award. We’ll attend contract meetings to ensure that any contract procured through us performs well from procurement to completion. This can help customers to check that any commitments made by the contractor in their quality submission is reflected in their service.
- Bespoke options – if you find that your requirements fall outside of our framework offer we can also carry out a bespoke project for you. This has proved helpful for other Smaller HA Members who have specific requirements.
