The way the public sector buys goods and services will change next month. In the meantime, Cabinet Office will host two webinars for suppliers. They’ll set out the key changes and importantly, will demonstrate the central digital platform.
On 24 February The Procurement Act 2023 will come into force, introducing new measures to improve public procurement practices across the country. Many of the changes aim to help suppliers of all sizes to do more business with the public sector.
If you’re a supplier, contractor or consultant to the public sector, then you’ll need to know about the changes. These webinars will be a great way to keep on top of the new regulations – and what may be asked of you in the future.
An important element of the webinars will be a demonstration of the new central digital platform. Once live, the platform will be used by contracting authorities to post notices, and suppliers will be asked to submit certain information as required by the new regs.
You can register for either dates below:
If you can’t make either of the dates, Cabinet Office will be recording and sharing the sessions here: Information and guidance for suppliers – GOV.UK
