Earlier this year we donated £10,000 to support Bexley Snap through our FOUNDATION fund. They offer support to disabled children, young people and their families. This includes tailored clubs and inclusive play sessions for children, young people and adults aged 1 to 25 – as well as providing a much-needed support system to their families.
We recently visited Bexley Snap for the grand opening of their new sensory suite and to learn more about the brilliant work they’re doing.
Our donation helped transform an un-used office space into a fully equipped sensory room. Once open the room will provide a safe space for children to learn and play – it will also support parents and colleagues to manage challenging behaviour in a relaxing environment.
Our funding was part of a wider donation fund from other organisations within the community, including Apex Lifts who nominated the project through our FOUNDATION fund. We’re honoured to have been able to help such a brilliant organisation that’s making a real difference to their community.
“The sensory room provides a relaxing and quiet space for children, when other areas are over whelming or over stimulating. The space enables children to calm and regulate their emotions, before being able to engage in other activities. The sensory room provides stimulation and encourages attention when interacting with the resources. It also provides a space to relax and socialise with peers.”

“For Stephan, he can come and play with lovely, safe equipment in a non-judgemental environment which gives me confidence too. He loves the bubble tube in the Sensory Room which is very calming.”
Dad of 4 year old Stephen
