We’re proud to start the new year by welcoming three new members to the team in January. Both Louise Gibbs and Morris Williams join as Procurement Partners and Lucy Oliver as our new Technical Partner.
As our Membership expands and we deliver more enhanced services to customers they’ll provide invaluable support and experience to our Operations team.
Louise and Morris will be responsible for managing and delivering our customer’s mini tenders and direct awards. And will act as a main point of contact for Members and the framework service providers involved in each project.
Lucy will work with Jenna, our Technical Partnerships Manager to provide support to customers with their technical documents, bespoke tenders and ongoing contract administration.
All three new team members join at an exciting time for SEC as we begin to look beyond our 2020-23 strategy and we’re so pleased to have them on board!
You can learn more about them below – Welcome to the team Louise, Morris and Lucy!
I’m reliable, versatile and hard-working with over 6+ years’ experience in Purchasing and Procurement (Public Sector). I love a challenge and I’m delighted to be back in Procurement after spending the last year working in customer service.
In my spare time I enjoy watching + listening to Podcasts, I enjoy (sometimes) watching football (Manchester United is the team), love cooking, watching documentaries, films, going out with friends, walking my dogs (my partner and I have x2 Pugs), music and working out.
Morris WilliamsProcurement Partner
Prior to joining SEC, I worked at Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) for 3 ½ years as a Procurement Contract Manager, during this time I ran several tenders ranging from a whole banking system replacement to office stationery. I managed supplier relationships and generated a supplier risk control library.
I prided myself on strong customer communication and stakeholder engagement and am looking forward to working closely with SEC members to support their Procurement needs.
Louise GibbsProcurement Partner
I have worked in social housing for 20 plus years working in responsive maintenance in a number of roles. I started as a repairs clerk, learning repairs diagnosis and contract administration, I progressed onto becoming a repairs inspector and finally responsive repairs manager.
I have always loved providing a service that helps to maintain and improve people’s homes. I believe that procuring the right contracts is large part of this and helps and enables landlords to meet service requirements. I am excited to have joined SEC and to be part of their team.
Outside of work I enjoy looking after my family and our dogs! We have a campervan and enjoy discovering new places and attending Vdub festivals! I have a passion for audio books and formula one.
