We welcomed another colleague to the team last month! Darrel Trigg joined us as our Head of Technical Services. His role is dedicated to developing our offer to deliver tailor-made technical and asset management support to our customers. He’ll work alongside Lucy, our Technical Partner to provide practical support to our Members, and our internal teams.
Darrel has worked in construction for over 30 years. Originally from South Africa, he started his career project managing residential schemes, and then moved on to building surveying before moving to the UK with his family in 2015.
Once in the UK he began a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying, whilst working full time as a Clerk of Works. He then gained experience as a Building Surveyor – focussing on the contract administration and project management of refurbishment projects in the high-end residential and education sectors. He also has experience in many professional specialisms of Building Surveying such as due diligence, building pathology, dilapidations and insurance reinstatement cost assessments.
Outside of working hours Darrel is interested in photography and he’s looking at getting back into gold over the next year. He’s also a keen cook and enjoy any style of cooking (except baking)!
