We welcomed another colleague to the team in January. Sam Foord joined us as our new Finance Apprentice. He’s joining at an exciting time for us, and we’re proud to have him on board!
Sam will provide essential support to our Finance team. He’ll help with invoice raising and liaising with our contractors on their levy sharing – all whilst undergoing his AAT Level 3 qualification.
Sam left school to undergo an apprenticeship straight from year 11 and has worked as a Finance Assistant in the NHS. He’s now excited to expand his experience at SEC helping a different public sector and community. He’s always had an interest in finance but procurement is a new industry for him, so he’s keen to learn all about it.
Outside of work he’s always trying to keep outdoors (weather permitting!) whether its playing golf or watching/playing football. He also likes to be able to get to music concerts when possible as he enjoys all different types of music.
