We’re now live with the re-tender of our Internal & External Building Works Framework. It’s worth up to £750 million over 4 years and has been specifically designed to suit housing providers with their major works programmes. 

The tender deadline is 21 February. Interested contractors can now download the tender documents from myTenders –

Any questions from tenderers should now be submitted via the portal. 

What will the new model look like?

We’re changing the Lot breakdown of our I&E Framework. We’ve broken the new model down into the following value bands:

  • Lot 1: Works with an annual value of up to £749,999
  • Lot 2: Works with an annual value between £750,000 and £1,999,999
  • Lot 3: Works with an annual value between £2,000,000 and £4,999,999
  • Lot 4: Works with an annual value of £5,000,000 or more

Works within the Lots can include some or all of the following elements:

  • External Envelope – inc. EWI, Repointing and Rendering
  • Heating
  • Kitchens and Bathrooms
  • Windows and Doors
  • Roofing
  • Electrical
  • Cyclical Decorations

We’re changing the framework model to encourage more multi-trade SME’s to tender for the framework. Trade-specific works which would have been covered by Lots 2-6 of the previous framework will now be covered through the Planned Maintenance Lot of our DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System).
