Radcliffe Housing Society needed additional support with procuring their new cleaning and grounds maintenance contract. After speaking with them to learn more about their project's particular requirements we were able to provide a bespoke solution which helped them with the preparation of their tender documents, running the procurement process and assisting with their evaluations and moderation sessions.

We developed a project plan – with clear tasks and timescales for both SEC and Radcliffe to help with planning ahead and ensuring the project runs to time. Tasks included:

  • reviewing their existing specification – providing advice on improvements to make sure Radcliffe got the most out of their new contract.
  • asking about their existing contracts – what worked well for them? and what could be improved?
  • producing their cost model – making sure that it reflected the needs of the contract and helped Radcliffe with their ongoing contract management.
  • regular catch up meetings – this made sure key milestones were always met and were important to comply with Section 20 regulations.
  • assisting with evaluations and moderation sessions – this ensured that scores were fair and complied with procurement regulations.
  • contract drafting and finalising – SEC provided a tender report for Radcliffe to approve internally and then drafted the contracts ready for signing.
