At the end of this session, each delegate will understand the origins of social housing and how this informs the purpose and values of housing organisations today. There will be a chance to learn how housing associations are structured, funded and regulated.

- The origins of social housing and how this impacts on the vision and purpose of the sector today.
- The funding of social housing, including the four primary activities of housing providers and the six internal disciplines.
- Overview of the Housing Revenue Account for Local Government.
