Applications are now open for our next cohort of Next Generation Leaders!

We’ve partnered with Solace to provide an ILM Certificated course for next generation leaders within the Housing Sector. It’s part of our £200,000 a year investment in people through our Prospects programme.

Each delegate will take part in a four module programme which explores the role of leadership in delivering change. They’ll also benefit from growing their network of likeminded colleagues from different housing providers in a supportive environment.

The programme has been really successful amongst our membership with 42 colleagues already completing the course, and 11 currently taking part in the 5th Cohort.

You can learn more about the programme and what it entails here – Next Generation Leaders – South East Consortium.

Applications close on 11 February. SEC Members are able to nominate one colleague per year to complete the programme for free. Any additional applicants are charged a subsidised cost.

Non-Members are also able to nominate one colleague. The cost per-delegate if £750 + VAT.

Candidates should submit the following:

  1. A CV outlining your experience.
  2. A personal statement (of no more than two sides) that tells us:
    • Why you want to join the programme
    • What you will bring to the group
    • How you think you would benefit from the experience at this point in your career.
  3. A letter of recommendation from a senior manager within your organisation who will act as your sponsor on the programme.

Please send the above to learning@solace.org.uk by 11 February – with the email title “SEC Next Generation Leader Nomination”.

Our intention will be to bring together a diverse group of participants that can share and learn with and from each other.

The cohort will begin in March. We look forward to receiving your applications this month. If you have any questions please get in touch with our Training & Development Partner, Alex Tooke – alex.tooke@southeastconsortium.org.uk.
