COURSE OUTLINE

BPTW and FFT will present on a joint approach of undertaking widescale and high-level regional portfolio reviews. Using relevant case studies of projects from Sussex, Lambeth and Lewisham, they will cover how this work is enabling Local Authorities and Registered Providers of social housing to develop a thorough picture of the land and buildings they own in order to inform wider portfolio management objectives; for example by identifying opportunities to improve performance, energy efficiency and building safety, provide additionality and realise latent value, and create better places through area and site specific interventions such as infill or regeneration.

The session will go through a methodical process which covers 3 clear stages:

Stage 1 – Area Assessments

Stage 2 – Relevant asset interventions

Stage 3 – Architectural Analysis (site analyses, feasibility and capacity studies)

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Delegates will develop a deeper understanding on analysing site opportunities with solid, practical tips, relevant case studies and a run through of key considerations to apply in practice. The session will be led by BPTW Partner Neill Campbell and include a series of other specialist presentations.
