Learning Objective

After this session, delegates will understand how the standard fits within the current regulatory environment, be able to identify what policies, processes, and actions are required by organisations and be able to consider blockages that there may be to achieving the standard.

Agenda

  • Gain a clear understanding of the Competence and Conduct Standard and it’s regulatory context
  • Know the organisation requirements, including the need for an Organisational Development Policy
  • Learn practical approaches for carrying out skill scans and workforce development planning
  • Understand how to demonstrate compliance to the regulator through evidence and outcomes
  • Explore the importance of professional conduct in delivering housing services
