Delivering Fire Safety Compliance with Town & Country Housing

In early 2020 we helped Town & Country Housing to procure their Fire Safety Works contract with AD Construction. Since then, both organisations have built a trusted long-term collaboration that’s improved resident safety and delivered high-quality outcomes. We recently checked in with them to hear how the contract is progressing.

The Scope of Works 

AD Construction have delivered a variety of FRA remedial works through the contract so far. These range from small-scale actions to larger, more complex fire safety measures including:   

• Fire door replacements and upgrades
• Loft compartmentation
• Minor remedials – signage and door adjustments
• Responsive FRA actions across multiple properties 

Over the years, their teams have also navigated challenges around access and site logistics. Throughout this they’ve worked together to ensure that safety, compliance and minimum disruptions to residents sits at the top of their deliverables.

The Procurement Approach 

Town & Country originally appointed AD Construction through our Fire Remedial Works framework. The contract looked to cover a wide range of remedial actions arising from their Fire Risk Assessments. The framework provided an efficient route to market, with our hands-on support simplifying the process for Town & Country across each stage.
