We recently helped London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (LBHF) procure a contractor to deliver roofing replacement works to two of their high-rise residential blocks in West London.
The Council used our Internal & External Building Works Framework to run a mini tender covering a multi-disciplinary package of works.
As a long-standing SEC member, they were able to quickly access the route to market which reduced procurement timelines while maintaining full compliance.
We helped in the procurement by issuing an expression of interest to relevant contractors on the framework, enabling LBHF to progress quickly to the tender stage.
The Council then ran the mini tender through their own capital e-sourcing platform, evaluating submissions based on quality, value, and social value commitments. Social value was a key consideration, with bidders required to submit Added Value proposals aligned with the Social Value Portal.
Following this process, Greyline was appointed to deliver the works, helping LBHF in maintaining and improving its housing stock through a comprehensive and coordinated approach.
