Cabinet Office have been busy refining their plans for the upcoming procurement reform, adding clarity to their proposals and preparing to introduce the Bill to parliament. Last month they released an update on their progress – we’ve provided an outline of the new information below.
One of the key takeaways from the February update was in regards to learning and development. Cabinet Office will roll out a programme across the public sector which will support stakeholders to get up to speed with the changes.
This programme will be delivered through three types of training:
Cabinet Office also stressed that they will give a minimum of six months notice before the new regime comes into force – and this will not be until 2023 at the earliest.
