“Clarion Housing worked with Swale Heating to mobilise the heating contract for the eastern region in early 2018. Within what was a challenging mobilisation timeframe, Swale Heating was able to demonstrate its experience in this field by delivering to key milestones and ensuring a smooth transition for our residents.”David ChisnallSenior Operations Manager (Heating), Clarion Housing Group
In 2018 Clarion Housing used our Heating framework to direct award a contract to Swale Heating. They're contracted to provide heating systems maintenance and reactive installation to 11,040 of Clarion's social housing properties in an area covering parts of Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Fenland.
The mobilisation in March 2018 coincided with some of the worst weather on record as the Beast from the East combined with Storm Emma to produce extraordinarily difficult conditions. Despite those challenges, Swale Heating’s finely-honed systems, the expertise of its managers and the commitment of its field staff ensured the mobilisation was a success.
- The contract delivered 100% gas safety compliancy to a testing deadline.
- Implemented an effective programme of continuing maintenance and reactive installation that has been well-received by tenants.
- Effective HR strategies quickly integrated new staff into Swale Heating protocols.
- Swale Heating’s field staff demonstrated dedication and commitment in coping with the enormous challenges caused by The Beast from the East.
“Our work with Clarion proves that, if you want to stay safe and warm, you should use a specialist provider. Clarion put huge trust in us and we are pleased that, despite the challenges and the unusually difficult weather conditions, the outcomes prove that we are the company to choose as a long-term provider.
We take pride in offering fully comprehensive programmes of heating system maintenance and reactive boiler installation to large organisations and housing associations, as well as being the heating systems specialist of choice for hundreds of thousands of private householders.”
