This is a trainee role within our Procurement team. We'll support your ongoing development and training. This includes a training and development plan, and sponsorship of your Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) course.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing knowledge of bespoke procurement solutions, frameworks and DPSs and the regulations that govern them
- Developing knowledge and experience of full end to end tendering process
- Delivering compliant framework call offs and DPS competitions for a diverse range of customers. Supporting recommendations on customer routes to market.
- Supporting the SEC team by assisting with various forms of DPS, framework and contract data.
What you’ll need -
- Excellent planning and organisational skills – Essential
- Ability to adapt to changing customer demands – Essential
- Good knowledge of a range of Microsoft IT packages, especially Excel, and other related systems such as CRM and other Procurement related systems– Essential
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines - Essential
- Awareness of the housing sector and its purpose and protocols
This role will mainly be based in our office in Sittingbourne in Kent, and we offer a hybrid working arrangement – we’ll ask, as a minimum, that you spend two working days per week in the office.
