Sara will be responsible for planning, monitoring and delivering our frameworks and dynamic markets. She'll also manage our Procurement team that covers the day-to-day running of our current DPS's and supplier management.
Sara's had an exciting and varied career so far - including a catering start up in the very last 80s where she served tea to "call me Tony" Sir Anthony Hopkins and had to evacuate "Dr" Neil Fox from his radio studio.
She went into Procurement after having to deliver an operational FM contract that was written without engaging the delivery team. Since then, Sara's experience spans Central Government (including a stint in the Falkland Islands), BBC, Capital Radio and the NHS. Whilst at the NHS she specialised in facilities management, estates, construction and workforce. Sara's passionate about SMEs and engaging better with our potential supply chains.
She lives in Thanet with her husband, very close to the beach where they walk their mini-Schnauzer and the cat sneers at passers-by. Violet and Nick make up their blended family but as young adults they liver away and have both started their careers. Sara loves cooking and trying to replicate dishes (with varying levels of success) that they enjoy on their travels!
