LEARNING OBJECTIVE 

To provide delegates an introduction to delivering meaningful, sustainable and community led social value within communities. This workshop will include facilitated discussions and hands-on activities that bring social value, meaningful engagement and sustainability to life.

AGENDA

The session will be facilitated by The Mason Foundation. An outline of the session is shown below:

  • To explore what we mean by ‘Social Value’ and the difference between consultation and co-development.
  • Discussing the benefit of ‘bringing the community on the journey with you’ – empowering community engagement and ensuring social value is integral to your process, not an afterthought.
  • How to ensure sustainability for your social value project. – Are communities hard to reach?
  • Exploring different engagement methods to reach the most underrepresented groups.

This session would be ideal for Community engagement teams, Social Value / CSR employees, Project managers and Business development teams.
