The one-day course will look at the theory of contract administration, along with some examples using the JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 as the basis. Delegates will have learnt solid practical tips and examples to use in their day to day work situations with schedule of rate type contracts to enable them to manage contract administration in a more confident and professional manner.

The session will be facilitated by David Ashby, Director of Strategic Development at SEC. An outline of the session is shown below:
- Identify the clauses, explore the definition and discuss practical examples in JCT 2016 Measured Term Contract
- Understand how to deal with typical problems such as delays, loss and expense and extensions of time.
- How to apply clauses to real world scenarios through group exercises and discussions of simulated contract scenarios
- This course follows on from the introductory training and precedes the training on the Intermediate Contract.
