SEC have partnered with Solace to provide an ILM Certificated course for Next Generation Leaders within the Housing Sector. As part of our commitment to the sector and our £250,000 investment in people through our Prospects initiative, we have designed this course for colleagues within our Membership.
Over the next three days we’ll be introducing you to our second Cohort of Next Generation Leaders. The 12 delegates are all passionate about developing their career in Housing. They’ve been nominated by their organisation as they recognise their ambition and dedication to the sector.
The profiles below introduce our final four delegates – Jody, Kerry, Maria & Lindsey.
Maria joined Raven Housing Trust nearly 5 years ago, where she currently works as Deputy Director of Finance leading on Business Partnering, Business Planning and Treasury functions for the Group.
Kerry started her career at West Kent Housing Association nearly 18 years ago as a Property Junior Secretary. During this time she has stayed within the Property and Asset Team, carrying out various roles including contract management, surveying and asset management.
Jody has worked in the housing sector for 16 years. In her current role she's responsible for all of Gravesham’s Housing Landlord Services which is to provide Landlord services to approximately 5700 tenants and 416 leasehold properties.
Lindsey has worked for Hackney Council for 27 years and started as an apprentice after leaving school. She has always worked in repairs in various different roles.
